Woohoo!!

I'm baaaack! I totally am a slacker with this blog and had forgotten all about it. It's so crazy! Where have the last two years gone since I created this?! Our little angel is 26-months-old now... :(

Things have changed so much since I started this. We live in an awesome area with an AWESOME remodelled 4 br 2 ba Modular home. We have the best landlords anyone could ask for. We hope to buy someday but then again, we aren't real hyped about it now. With renting you don't have to worry about repairs and such. Our landlords are always so great too! Any repairs are fixed within hours!!! Had to have an electrician out the other day for an outlet in my office that quit working. Storm hit 'it' and only it causing a wire to break! So momentarily I had to have my computer cords draped along my floor across to another floor, in my way I might add, in order to work/function. All is well now though.

I'm being promoted!! Well let me start from the beginning. August 2006 I began working from home as a Medical Transcriptionist while still obtaining my degree. I'm still obtaining my degree but have progressed very well with awesome mentors/employers the last year. I was with a couple companies for a short while as I learned the ropes/routine, etc. and moved on to bigger and better things. I am now with an awesome company out of Hawaii and have been since February 2007. I transcribe retina surgeons/ophthalmologist and misc. doctor dictations daily. I am so awesomely blessed to have accomplished this dream that I had pondered on for some time prior. I am at hand for my family, can maintain my own schedule, yet contribute VERY nicely. Now to the best part... I am being promoted!!!! I have been approached directly by two doctors that want me to work straight through them which means I cut out the middle man and I get all the pay!! WOOHOO!! We are negotiating rates right now and I am THRILLED!

Now on to work... and I will now maintain this blog in a steady fashion since I set up the feeds, etc.
